ALTIRA RELEASES DEBUT EP DEATH OF FEAR FOLLOWING THREE-WEEK NO. 1 RUN ON CHRISTIAN MUSIC WEEKLY ROCK CHART

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Rising Christian rock band ALTIRA releases its debut EP, Death of Fear, today through The Fuel Music, marking a powerful new chapter for the trio founded by former Fireflight vocalist Dawn Michele, alongside guitarist Ash Blair and drummer Gina “G” Osmar.
The four-song project arrives during a major momentum moment for ALTIRA, as the band’s breakout debut single, “Black Hole,” is currently spending its third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly Rock chart. The chart success follows growing engagement across radio, streaming, media and live audiences, positioning ALTIRA as one of the most compelling new voices in Christian rock.
Death of Fear features “Black Hole,” “Here I Am,” “Death of Fear” and the newly released “Paper Doll,” creating a cohesive body of work centered around confronting fear, breaking cycles of pain and stepping into the truth of God’s love.
Built for fans of Disciple, Fireflight and Seventh Day Slumber, the EP blends soaring vocals, heavy guitars, driving drums and emotionally charged songwriting with a ministry heartbeat rooted in courage, hope and spiritual transformation.
The title track, “Death of Fear,” previously released alongside ALTIRA’s first official music video, introduced the EP’s central message with intensity and conviction. Written as a battle cry against fear’s grip on identity, faith and emotional freedom, the song set the tone for the full project.
“In my life, I have frequently been a slave to my fear,” Dawn Michele previously shared of the title track. “The inner critic inside me has pushed and pulled me at every turn, crowding out God’s voice and building a wall between myself and the truth of who I am as a child of God. This song is a battle cry. No matter how many times fear has beaten me down and stolen my joy and my peace, I will rise again through the power of God’s truth — and that truth will set me free.”
The EP’s newest focus track, “Paper Doll,” adds another layer of vulnerability and urgency to the project. Inspired by the realities of abuse, survival and healing, the song serves as both a narrative anthem for survivors and a call for believers to remain alert to those who may be trapped in dangerous situations or carrying wounds from physical, emotional or spiritual abuse.
Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 40:31, “Paper Doll” carries a message of renewed strength, deliverance and hope for those learning to rise again.
Since launching earlier this year, ALTIRA has continued to build rapidly across multiple platforms, surpassing 61,000 Spotify streams, 10,000 Apple Music streams, 42,000 Amazon Music streams and 1,600 radio spins, while continuing to see growing engagement across social platforms and video content.
Media momentum has also continued to build around the band, with recent coverage and interviews from outlets including Jesus Freak Hideout, The Christian Music Guys, CMAddict, Lyfe Show TVand HM Magazine, among others.
ALTIRA’s live schedule is also beginning to expand, with upcoming dates including a June 27 appearance with Disciple in Pennsylvania, a September appearance at Immersion Music Festival in Circleville, Ohio, and a March 2027 appearance at Light the Dark Festival in Norrköping, Sweden.
