Named after the San Diego neighborhoods where his parents grew up—Shelltown and Paradise Hills—the project blends 80s-inspired textures, honest songwriting, and intimate home-studio creativity into a sound that is dreamy, introspective, and faith-filled. Inspired by the question, “What if worship music sounded like The Cure?,” Shelltown Paradise creates songs for restless believers, inviting listeners to bring their questions, wounds, and imperfect worship before a God who meets them where they are.

TRU-SERVA (born Marcus Montana) is a Christian hip-hop artist and ordained minister based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Growing up outside of New Orleans in a single-parent household, his life was shaped by adversity until a transformative encounter with Christ at age 16 redirected his purpose. Blending authentic storytelling with faith-driven lyricism, TRU-SERVA uses hip-hop to communicate hope, redemption, and identity in Christ while bridging the gap between the streets and the church.
